A modern friendly Greek restaurant situated right in the Centre of the Main Mall

Growing up, watching her mother, the Late Ourana Mitchell cooking was the order of the day. “She was really my inspiration, most of my recipes are hers.” Irene says of her mother showing great pride and adoration.  Cafénion, which means coffee shop in Greek is her own spin of how she’s carried this tradition forward with her son Milton. Their Greek heritage and Zimbabwean roots influenced the eclectic Cafénion menu, an interplay between different dishes from sandwiches and hamburgers to Greek style wraps-gyros, short bread, spinach and cheese pies and the most amazing mouth watering desserts.

For Irene, who doubles up as a caterer for private events, being able to share recipes is something she sees as a gift and is alway happy to share a little secret now and then.
